Enabling the Kitchen Feature In POS Screen: #
Kitchen Order (send order to kitchen or not) #
- Navigate to the POS screen.
- On the POS screen, you will notice a checkbox. When this checkbox is checked, it signifies that the order should be sent to the kitchen for preparation.
- Orders without this checkbox checked will not be sent to the kitchen. They will be treated differently, such as for immediate service or other specific requirements.
Kitchen Screen #
- Enable the kitchen module as explained here.
- Go to the Kitchen screen from the left navigation.
- Whenever an order is received on the POS screen it will reflect in the Kitchen screen.
- Order details can be viewed here.
- Orders can be marked as cooked. After marking it as Cooked it will reflect in the Order screen for a service provider so that they can serve the customer.
