If you are a manufacturer who uses our software to manage your recipes and production, you might be interested in the latest update we have rolled out. We have added some new settings and permissions that will give you more control and flexibility over your manufacturing process.
Production Ref No. prefix: This allows you to set a prefix number that will be automatically added to the production reference number when you create a new production batch. This can help you to organize your production records and avoid confusion.
Disable editing ingredients quantity option: This lets you disable the ability to edit the quantity of ingredients when you add a new production batch. This can be useful if you want to ensure that your staff follow the exact recipe and do not alter the raw ingredients without your approval. You can still edit the ingredients quantity later if you need to, but this setting will prevent any accidental or unauthorized changes during the production process.
We have also added some new permissions for recipe and production management. You can now assign different levels of access to your staff based on their roles and responsibilities. For example, you can give some staff members the permission to view only, some to view and add, and some to view, add, and edit recipes and production batches. This way, you can protect your confidential recipes from being copied or modified by unauthorized users, and also ensure that only qualified staff can make changes to your production records.
These settings and permissions are designed to help you streamline your manufacturing workflow and improve your quality control. To access them, go to Manufacturing Settings & User Roles Permissions in your dashboard. We hope you find them useful and we welcome your feedback.
